century farmhouse, located in the quiet village of Old. Accommodation is provided in either the farmhouse or the garden cottage. |

| The
farmhouse has
particularly attractive and spacious rooms with oak beams and a selection
of fine furniture, ornaments and paintings. Of the two bedrooms located
in the farmhouse, one has full en-suite facilities and its own private
sitting room with colour televsion. The second bedroom also with colour
television has an en suite shower room with wash basin and a seperate
toilet located on the landing. In the dining room there is a carved
17th century sideboard and a two-thirds
size snooker table, while in the breakfast room (where Anne provides a
full and hearty breakfast) there is a inglenook fireplace, window seats
and a dresser with the exhortation 'Nourish thyself with lively vivacity'. |

| The garden cottage which overlooks the delightful gardens, has been tastefully converted from farm buildings, with three further en-suite bedrooms, one of which is on the ground floor. There is also a guest lounge with a colour television. |

to Visit
Why not during your stay, visit some of the many tourist attractions. Nearby there is: Brixworth 7th century Anglo-Saxon Church Pitsford Water and Nature Reserve, with cycle hire where you can walk or cycle around the reservoir on the perimeter track. There is also a cafe & visitor centre giving you a panoramic view of the reservoir and overlooking the sailing club around the reservoir. The many stately homes of this county of spires and squires include:
A feature of the rolling agricultural landscape around here is the network of 18th and 19th century canals with a waterways museum at Stoke Bruene. Also within easy reach are: Silverstone Grand Prix Circuit, Rockingham Motor Speedway, Canons Ashby (National Trust), Sulgrave Manor and many more. |
